DCF & Terminal Value Calculator

Terms of Service

Last Updated:

1. Scope of the Free Service

The DCF & Terminal Value Valuation Calculator ("the Tool") is provided as a free, single-purpose online utility designed to assist users in performing theoretical discounted cash flow (DCF) models and sensitivity analyses. The Tool allows users to input their own financial projections, select terminal value methods (Gordon Growth or Exit Multiple), and generate shareable links and PDF exports. The service is provided strictly for educational, informational, and personal use.

2. No Financial Advice & No Warranty

The Tool does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All outputs, including intrinsic value calculations, margins of safety, and sensitivity heatmaps, are mathematically derived entirely from the subjective inputs you provide.

We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any calculations or generated output. Corporate finance and equity valuation involve inherent uncertainties, and theoretical models often deviate significantly from actual market performance.

THE TOOL IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF ANY OUTPUT AND FOR ANY INVESTMENT DECISIONS YOU MAKE. WE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR OPPORTUNITY COSTS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS TOOL.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use the Tool for personal, educational, or professional purposes (e.g., embedding the widget on a finance blog, sharing links to specific valuations in forums). However, you agree not to:

  • Misrepresent the generated outputs as guaranteed investment predictions or certified financial advice.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or exploit the client-side architecture of the Tool.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to spam the interface or generate mass quantities of PDF exports in a manner that degrades the experience for others.
  • Embed the tool on websites that promote illegal activities, malware, or hate speech.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Generated Content: You retain complete ownership of the data you input, as well as the PDF files and specific shareable URL hashes you generate using the Tool. You are free to publish, distribute, and reproduce your generated valuations without requiring our explicit permission.

Our Tool and Codebase: The underlying HTML, CSS, JavaScript logic, UI design, text copy, and custom algorithms constituting the Tool remain our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, scrape, or host a standalone clone of the Tool without authorization, except through the provided iframe embed snippet.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time, at our sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. By continuing to access or use the Tool after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with standard international website usage guidelines, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
